The Dicksonia antactica is a large tree fern from Tasmania. Their large thick trunks can grow up to 6 meters in height. Like most ferns it is best grown in the shade and the darker they are planted the longer the leaves get. They have to be kept moist can tolerate moderate frosts of up to -12°C.
