A date palm selection from the Palmeral de Orihuela with black date fruits. The fruits of this selection are slightly smaller then regular date palm cultivars and have a black colour. The fruits have a very sweet taste. The Palmeral de Orihuela is the second largest palm forest in Europe after the Palmeral of Elche.
